Ordering & The Menu

How do I get started?

Once you are ready to order, choose from either:

Plan, is a predefined meal plan created for you and is based on a number of questions you are asked, such as gender, weight goal and protein preference (meat, fish or a combination of both).

Simply progress through the online steps including choosing the amount of meals per day, whether you want a 5 day week plan or the whole week.

Once selected, we will provide you with your diet plan. Rest assured, if you don’t like any of the selections you have the flexibility to change any item you would like! That means you can swap out the whole meal, every meal or individual items, (meat/fish, carbs or the veg). Just click “change” next to the line item in your meal plan.

**Any additional costs from selecting a more expensive item will be automatically added to your bill.

Once you are happy with your order select the “checkout” button, and you will then be able to pay via, PayPal or Debit/Credit Card. Fill out the form, entering your delivery details, select your preferred day of delivery (either Sunday or Wednesday) and complete your payment details.

To make life easy for you and to ensure you get your pre-prepared food regularly without interruption, we give you the option to have ether a monthly subscription, pay up front (4, 12 or 24 weeks) or make the weeks order a one off (which would need you to manually order again towards the end of your week).

Once done, click “Place Order”. Sit back, relax and leave the rest to us.

Note: Some customers like to have their weekly food delivered in two batches, 3 days Food on a Sunday, and 4 days for on the Wednesday. Please note there is a £5 delivery premium per delivery.

Bespoke, gives you the option to go through selecting item by item, meal by meal. If your trying to get really macro specific this may be the better option for you. If you get tired of selecting individual items, don’t worry we have added a “random” button which can fill in the blanks and speed up your process. Again like the Plan, our ordering system walks you through step by step all the way through to payment and placing the order.

Can I just take a look at the menu?

The menu can be viewed here. We change the menu once a month to make sure you and your taste buds stay exhilarated.

How much will it cost?

Several factors influence the pricing of your package, the daily cost will depend on your nutritional requirements as well as the length of time that you sign up for (you get significant discounts if you buy several weeks worth up front or sign up to the monthly subscription).

The menu page shows your pricing. Each Meat/Fish dish comes with one Carbohydrate and one Vegetable dish. Carbohydrates and Vegetable dishes do not effect the pricing.

Should you change any of the predefined meals that include a more expensive food item, our system will automatically calculate any surcharges for you live on screen.

What are the discounts for becoming a member?

To reward our customers loyalty we offer generous discounts for staying a customer.

Where do you source your food from?

We are proud of every ingredient we use and aim to have everything sourced from local farms and markets such as Billingsgate fish Market, Smithfields Meat Markets and Borough Market and New Spitalfields Market. We ensure our produce is always ultra fresh and of the highest quality.

How will I know what each meal contains?

All of our items of the menu have a full macro and ingredients break down listed on the menu page on our website.

Do you offer halal food?

Yes, we offer a totally HALAL menu. Please mention in the “dietary” section on the meal plan page.

Will I need to prepare my food?

Our service is to make healthy eating as easy and convenient as possible. Each meal is individually packaged in a microwaveable container ready to reheat, please follow the reheating instructions found on the boxes.

How long do the meals last?

Meals will stay fresh for 3 days upon delivery if kept refrigerated. If you are planning on eating the meals after 3 days please freeze them once they’re delivered to ensure freshness.

All expiry dates are found on the food boxes themselves.

Can I freeze the meals?

Of course! We recommend that you freeze meals on day of delivery if you aren’t planning on eating them in the recommended best before date on the food boxes.

How do I heat my meals?

All heating instructions are found on the food boxes themselves, specific to each meal. Rest assured it very easy to heat the meals in the microwave!

Can I pause or cancel my subscription?

If you would like to pause or stop your subscription at any time simply email us on info@thelionsprep.co.uk giving us minimum of 7 days notice so we can process everything and ensure you're not sent out food that isn’t required.

How do I change meals in my subscription or prepaid orders?

How does the food get delivered?

We use DPD as our delivery company. Your lovely boxes of nutrition will be sealed in temperature-controlled packaging to keep it cool all day. We will give you a one hour time slot for your delivery the morning / afternoon of delivery.

What if I'm not going to be home?

No problem! On the day of delivery you will receive a text message and will have the option to leave your delivery in a safe place or with a neighbour. If left somewhere such as your back garden, a picture of the location will be sent to you via text message.

We deliver all over mainland UK.

What days do you deliver?

We have delivery drops on Sundays and Wednesdays. To receive your order on Sunday - for Monday's meal plan - please ensure you order your food by 10pm on the Thursday. To receive your order on the Wednesday, Please ensure you place your order by 10pm on Sunday.
